Girls Leading Girls is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco, CA and founded in 2014 with the mission to train girls ages 5-18 in leadership and life skills through soccer. Our programs focus on three main areas: skills development, leadership training and character building.

Girls Leading Girls' Board of Directors is composed of a committed group of volunteers who come from all walks of life. They have extensive experience in a variety of professional arenas, hail from different parts of the world and have wide-ranging educational backgrounds. However, they have one thing in common: a desire to assist in developing tomorrow's leaders.
Also, they love soccer!
We believe that every woman has infinite potential. Our organization focuses on: empowering girls to be leaders within their own communities, encouraging collaboration amongst girls of different socioeconomic backgrounds, fortifying girl’s life skills through the lessons of sports and friendly competition.

Board of Directors
Brianna has extensive experience working for nonprofits locally and internationally. Before moving back to California she served two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Vanuatu, located in the South Pacific. She completed her Master’s degree in International Studies at USF and received her B.S. in Business at Sacramento State University where she played on the NCAA Division I Women’s soccer team. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco teaching International Development. She holds her US Soccer Coaching D License and the NSCAA National Diploma. She is the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Soccer program at University High School in San Francisco.
